UX Designer
Job Description
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in designing web applications with a capacity for simplifying complexity and ability to create highly intuitive UIs and workflows.
- A clear understanding of design thinking processes, and human centered design methodologies for identifying and solving problems.
- Fluency in best practices for web-based information architecture and design
- Experience with diverse testing methodologies (user research, A/B testing, etc.).
- Experience with interaction design for complex experiences.
- Strong visual design skills and willingness to contribute to companywide design systems.
- Experience with design mockup tools (Figma preferred).
- A very basic understanding of front-end markup is a plus (HTML/CSS, Sass).
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BFA/BS or equivalent industry experience.
- 10 years or more of relevant work experience, including demonstrated experience in designing usable web-based interfaces preferred.
- Dedicated, team-oriented, and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Creates innovative solutions for a wide variety of product design challenges, including mobile, desktop, accessibility and inclusion.
- Leads the design for new experiences and improvements of existing experiences.
- Plans and defines strategy for the direction of future iterations.
- Validate design changes through rapid prototyping, user research, design review
- Collaboration with the product development team, product management and larger Proofpoint UX team throughout the production cycle.
- Help maintain a consistent, integrated, high quality user experience across many different Proofpoint products.
- Assisting with facilitation of collaborative design thinking discussions concerning product value, innovation and opportunities for delivering better customer experience.
