We are currently seeking the newest innovator to join our North American Innovation Center as a UX Designer, of a Healthcare startup supported by LG NOVA, located in San Francisco, California. This role is currently hybrid.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a UX Designer on our healthcare innovation team, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and make a significant impact in the healthcare industry. You will collaborate with a diverse group of professionals, including product managers, developers, and healthcare experts, to create innovative solutions that improve patient outcomes and enhance the healthcare experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct user research to understand the needs and pain points of healthcare professionals and patients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate user requirements into intuitive and engaging user interfaces.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that effectively communicate the intended user experience.
  • Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate and improve the designs.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in UX design and healthcare technology.
  • Advocate for user-centered design principles and ensure that the user’s perspective is considered throughout the product development process.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • At least 4+ years of proven experience as a UX Designer.
  • Experience working on healthcare/digital health related projects.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing mobile and web design projects.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of design thinking methodologies and the ability to apply them to solve complex problems.
  • Startup experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
