Description:
Spexi is a pioneering drone technology company dedicated to making ultra-high-resolution geospatial imagery more accessible, empowering organizations and individuals to make smarter decisions about the physical world.
We’re building an exciting new two-sided marketplace called the Spexi Network. It’s the world’s first Fly-to-Earn platform that enables drone pilots to earn rewards for flying and collecting aerial imagery. It also enables organizations of all sizes to quickly and easily access high-resolution aerial imagery and valuable derivative data, powering remote monitoring of buildings, infrastructure, natural resources, and more. Our goal is to guide their decision-making and help them better plan and react, without needing to own drones or hire pilots.
We are seeking a talented and experienced UX Designer to join our Product Management team. In this role, you will lead the design of intuitive, impactful experiences for both our drone pilots and data customers. Your work will be crucial in creating interfaces that help users easily navigate and engage with the Spexi Network, ensuring a seamless experience from onboarding to ongoing interaction with our platform’s rich geospatial data and Fly-to-Earn features.
Responsibilities:
- Design user-friendly, visually appealing interfaces and workflows that align with our product’s objectives and enhance user engagement.
- Conduct user research, including interviews and usability testing, to inform design decisions and improve user experiences.
- Collaborate closely with Product Management to understand feature requirements, identify user needs, and refine design goals.
- Translate complex technical concepts and data-driven insights into straightforward, accessible, and impactful user experiences.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows that effectively communicate design ideas and guide development.
- Create and maintain design systems ensuring consistency across the product by developing and maintaining a set of reusable components, guidelines, and patterns that enhance user experience.
- Work with Engineering to implement and iterate on designs, ensuring feasibility and alignment with product capabilities.
- Continuously gather feedback, measure the effectiveness of designs, and enhance UX/UI elements to improve the product and support user retention.
- Contribute to defining the product’s visual identity and establishing a consistent design language across platforms.
