Description:
Are you ready to leave your mark on one of the most iconic horror games of the last decade? Dead by Daylight is looking for an experienced UX Director to help us elevate its user experience. As a UX Director, you’ll be a crucial part of our leadership team, ensuring that Dead by Daylight’s immersive world is as engaging and intuitive for players as it is terrifying.
This is a groundbreaking opportunity to shape and build a UX discipline vision within our Dead by Daylight production. As our first UX Director, you will be our UX leader throughout every stage of production. Additionally, your mock-ups & flows will inspire and challenge the team in the early stages of feature design. While you will act as a discipline expert, you will also contribute to mentor talent within the UX family.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the UX design vision for Dead by Daylight ;
- Work with the team on appropriate execution of UX to solve player needs;
- Oversee prototyping efforts to ensure it fits within time constraints and meets requirements. Facilitate translation of prototype to final product;
- Create complex wireframes, flows and interactive click-through prototypes.
- Create the project architecture for others to work within;
- Drive evolution of the design systems related to UX and UI throughout the productions;
- Oversee and drive the visual strategy and execution across a variety of UX features and products;
- Ensure the team’s consistency of UX and UI across the product or system;
- Review all UX and UI related to your product and provide feedback to the team;
- Identify key research opportunities for the product. Coordinate with the data insights team for testing and iteration;
- Evangelize and educates the team on the value of user research (why + when);
- Provide UX an UI analysis of competitive products;
- Oversee application of human factor principles and ensure they are effectively applied to designs. Identify and articulate player mental models to drive UX design;
- Mentorship of UX specialists on the project;
- Work with other Directors to set the feature standards, expectations and requirements for the project.
