THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are looking for a talented UX Researcher to support UX insights and consumer insights, focusing on innovation discovery for various products, including large appliances, small appliances, TVs, B2B platforms, and more. You’ll work on projects ranging from future innovation programs to next-year production platforms, taking a holistic approach from initial insight discovery to consumer research, prototyping, and testing, encompassing both digital and physical touchpoints.

As the UX Researcher/Insight Specialist, you will:

  • Conceptualize and iterate on high-quality end-to-end consumer insights.
  • Lead consumer insight discovery and synthesis to inform innovation and platform strategy.
  • Conduct user research, prototyping, and testing to validate concepts and experiences.
  • Define intuitive and user-centered digital and physical experiences.
  • Provide actionable research insights that inform both tactical and strategic efforts.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, and business stakeholders.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in UX and Product Design.
  • Help team members understand and apply research findings by framing problems, defining insights, and designing methodologies to meet customer needs.
  • Experience with Adobe and other design tools is highly preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years of experience in user research, particularly in consumer goods.
  • Strong user research skills, with experience in both qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
  • Proficiency in various research methods: ethnography, contextual inquiry, in-depth interviews, surveys, online testing tools, data analytics (Tableau), concept testing, usability testing, and A/B testing etc.
  • Proven ability to take ownership of products or projects.
  • Creative, strategic, and technical thinking abilities.
  • Curiosity, self-motivation, and a positive attitude.
  • Strong research portfolio demonstrating the use of diverse research methods to drive decision-making.
  • Ability to adhere to a high standard of pursuing what is best for the business.
  • Comfortable navigating inter-team collaboration.
  • Experience in physical product development and digital UX.
  • Willingness to work in the office 5 days a week (required).
