ABOUT THE JOB
As a UX Researcher at Nourish, you’ll be advocating for our end users through proactive research, documentation and the creation of a research repository which will support our teams throughout Product. You will view research from a wide lens and synthesise key user patterns over time, representing the voice of the user throughout our organisation. You’ll also work closely with UX, including supporting designers with individual project research through guidance on tools, resources and guidelines.

THE ROLE AND YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
You’ll be working in the Product Design team, with a focus to:
- Define a research roadmap to align with Nourish’s growth and vision, prioritising the organisation’s goals per quarter and leveraging research best practises alongside efficient and effective methods
- Proactively conduct ongoing user research throughout the product development lifecycle, including scheduling calls and visits, recruiting research participants, preparing interview or test material, preparing concept and usability test plans
- Visit at least 5 care homes monthly in various locations throughout the UK, speak to care home managers and document pain points. This will require driving or traveling to locations, at times accompanied by other team members
- Advocate for the user voice throughout our organisation, from presenting stakeholder reports to hosting frequent ‘Voice of the User’ forums in collaboration with other advocates across the organisation e.g. marketing
- Build and own UX personas, user journey maps and empathy maps in collaboration with designers to help guide the direction of releases
- Identify important trends and patterns in user behaviour over time, particularly monitoring core features and new releases over time
- Support the design team through collaborating with designers to understand research needs, relevant methods and guidance on areas of UX improvement
- Build and maintain UX research repository which would act as a centralised research database facilitating a deep and long-term understanding of our users.
- Deliver design research (relevant industry trends, comp intel etc.) every few months to contribute to the upkeep of our design standards and identify areas of UX improvement
