As a UX Researcher, you will contribute from an early research stage through to delivery. This includes showcasing and selling our products online, retaining our customers, and ensuring we deliver a best-in-class, high-performing customer experience. We’re championing user-centred design thinking and data-driven change whilst facilitating design research to help Primark achieve business goals.
Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skill sets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:
- Work with multidisciplinary teams, senior stakeholders, designers, product managers and engineers to conduct user research (qualitative and quantitative)
- Analyse quantitative data from Contentsquare and Google Analytics to support research findings from qualitative usability testing.
- Analyse the difference between the app and the web journeys and provide recommendations specific to the app.
- Conduct, and analyse research and make recommendations for experimentation.
- Collaborate with product roadmaps to plan and identify gaps in user knowledge.
- Create and grow Primark’s customer and employee panel which can be utilised for research.

- Research skills: You have experience with, and can support teams adopting, a wide range of user research methods. You can plan user research for services with complex user needs and complex user journeys. You can advise colleagues on the choice and application of research methods to assure best practice.
- Society and technology: You understand the social context for Primark. You can align user research activities to ensure your team understand changing user behaviour.
- Strategic insight: You understand what problem the team is trying to solve. You can align user research activities to inform decision-making and action
