UX Senior Designer

We’re looking for someone who can bring their best design skills and to our innovative mobile solutions team. This is a snr-level position and should take up around 20 hours of your time each month. It doesn’t matter how and when you work, as long as the job gets done and our learners and team are happy! That being said, a great Wifi connection is a definite requirement.
As a UX senior designer, you will be responsible for enhancing the user experience and visual appeal of our digital products and interfaces. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, product managers, and developers, to create engaging and user-friendly designs.
CI, Look and Feel - Working with our creative team to create CIs for various projects we work on, including corporate CI and marketing assets (decks, templates, website etc)
User -Centered Design: Understand user behaviour, needs, and preferences through research and user testing to inform design decisions and ensure a seamless user experience
Collaboration: Collaborate with UX/UI designers, Content innovation director, and developers to ensure that design concepts are feasible and implemented correctly.
Templates - Creating content templates for images and videos - based on various educational and marketing topics. It will be important to think of your medium and target markets and design accordingly and ensure content is mobile-friendly and engaging.
Rollout - Once the templates are done, you will be working with the content team to create all the mobile material. We want you to focus on delivering best-in-class content here!
Responsive Design: Design interfaces that are responsive and adaptable to various screen sizes and devices, ensuring a consistent experience across platforms.
A Focus On Mobile - Most of our work will be shown on WhatsApp, so we need to help ensure our projects use the best mobile-first principles, and we give our learners the best product experience with great UX.
Marketing Team Collaboration - Ensuring our marketing team creates assets using our overall CI
Usability Testing : Participate in or conduct usability testing sessions to gather feedback on design concepts and make necessary improvements.
Design Guidelines: Develop and maintain design guidelines and style guides to ensure consistency in design across the organization
Content Calendars - Including brainstorming with our team to ensure we post the best content.
Stay Updated: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging design technologies, and best practices to continuously improve design processes and outcome.
Requirements
An eye for detail - no mistakes in designs - spelling or layout
Good Communicator - You’ll be working remotely and mostly be your own boss. We need to trust you’re doing your job, and good communication will help with this
Self-Starter - We want someone who is going to go above and beyond and come up with cool ideas!
Curious - We want you to chat with our learners and help find useful insights we can act upon.
Report Creation - Presentation creation will help immensely.
Google Workplace - Proficiency in Google Docs is a must-have.Should be proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
What Will Set Me Apart?
Experience - let’s go there. We want someone who has a proven track record of exciting and entertaining content. It’ll also help if you’ve been customer-facing at any point in your career and have 5 to 10 years of experience.
Illustration - Any illustration experience will be a bonus!
Video Editing - Even experience in making gifs will be a big plus.
Collabs - Coming up with killer collabs with other brands and influencer.
Other Art Direction Tools - Wow us with your awesome tools and processes!
