Description:
POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES.
- Create design assets (Wireframes, Interactive Prototypes, High Fidelity Designs) that are used by delivery teams and business stakeholders to deliver business outcomes.
- Engage with Senior Stakeholders across the business to ensure all aspects of the design meet and exceed expectations.
- Collaborate with other departments to help communicate the value of being a “customer led” business and how it influences employee, business and customer outcomes.
- Ensure consistency of our digital customer approach across all products and online journeys.
- Attend workshops and other Agile ceremonies where digital design advice or assets are required.
- Create and maintain the visual identity of the digital products across all brands.
- Monitor customer communication platforms for areas of improvement or concern.
- Conduct user research to ensure we are meeting end user expectations.
- Makes end user pain points accessible to the wider business.
- Bring customer into every conversation we have.
- Identify and report potential risks or inadequate controls related to compliance or operational risks.
- Champion a culture of risk and compliance across the division.
- Maintain awareness, understanding and compliance with Company policies and procedures, including the on-time completion of mandatory training.
WHAT EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
- Relevant training and qualifications (e.g. digital experience and interaction design, UX and web design).
- Proficient in using Figma for wireframing, HiFi mock-up and prototyping, along with secondary tools such as Adobe CS Suite, Miro, Axure
- High level knowledge of front-end development frameworks.
- 2+ years’ experience in a UI/UX design role designing across digital platforms including responsive web, online services and/or mobile apps.
- Experience conducting user research across qualitative and quantitative methods, such as user interviews and design surveys to validate concepts and designs.
- Understanding of design principles, accessibility standards, typography, UI components, and general design trends across platforms.
- Experience working with Design Systems and component libraries.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to articulate and present solutions, ideas and recommendations.
- Excellent organisation, prioritisation, and time management skills, with high attention to detail.
- An excellent portfolio showcasing your user interface designs and design thinking, including process sketches, user flows, and/or wireframes for multiple form factors (e.g. mobile, tablet, desktop).

Responsibilities:
The UX/UI Designer is part of a team of delivery specialists in creating the best digital experiences for our customers.
The role will be a part of a significant strategy to create and maintain Australia’s best web based digital platforms for quoting, selling, and managing insurance policies. With a key focus being customer experience, the platforms allow our customers channel of choice without compromise of experience.
A key position in the delivery team, the UX/UI Designer works closely with the UX Researchers, CX team, Product Owners, and other business stakeholders to provide key prototypes, wireframes, designs and mock-ups of the customer experience within the digital area of interest. Ensuring that the customer has a fair representation in solving business problems or initiatives.
