THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a Planning Analyst to join our dynamic Finance team. In this role, you will focus on accurate future sales forecasting and revenue prediction based on market analysis and performance data. The position involves analyzing weekly and monthly performance, providing actionable insights to management and key stakeholders. It also supports revenue planning, conducting business sensitivity studies, and assessing market conditions to inform business decisions. Additionally, the role involves preparing executive presentations and reports for management updates and external audiences, ensuring accurate and relevant content.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze weekly/monthly performance and provide actionable insights to management and key stakeholders.
- Support revenue planning and budgeting by working with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Conduct business sensitivity analyses on market impact, profitability, and industry changes to enable predictive decision-making in changing conditions.
- Prepare and develop executive presentations on budgets, strategic reviews, and management updates for both internal and external audiences, ensuring accurate content delivery.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Economics or Business Administration.
- At least 3 years of experience in an economic field.
- Stakeholder management skills, strong communication and analytical skills.
- You live in or close to Budapest.
- Fluent in Hungarian and English.
