Description:
We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Valuations Reviewer in the Private Equity industry, based in San Francisco, California. In this role, you will be expected to critically review portfolio company valuations, leveraging your understanding of different valuation methods and your background in professional services.
Responsibilities:
- Critically review and evaluate portfolio company valuations, ensuring their accuracy and compliance with industry standards
- Apply your understanding of Market Approach, DCF, Option Pricing Model and Waterfall calculations in the valuation process
- Handle routine auditing tasks, including the development of audit plans and conducting thorough audits
- Ensure accurate and efficient processing of all relevant documents and checks
- Utilize your skills in Asset Valuation, Dcf Valuation, and Equity Valuation to contribute to the overall effectiveness of the team
- Maintain comprehensive records of cash activity and other financial transactions
- Resolve any inquiries related to the valuation process in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate closely with team members and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of the valuation review process
- Continuously monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices related to valuation.
- Possess expertise in Auditing and creating Audit Plans
- Ability to handle Cash Activity and Check Processing tasks efficiently
- Proficient in Asset Valuation, Dcf Valuation, Equity Valuation, and Discounted Cash Flow
- Experience in reviewing and validating valuations
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound judgments
- Proficient in using valuation software and tools
- Knowledge of financial markets and investment strategies
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines
- Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
