About the Role:
This role offers a unique and exciting opportunity for a versatile marketer eager to leverage a diverse skill set. Reporting to the Head of Value Marketing, who oversees the Go-to-Market strategies and plans, and audience-focused marketing frameworks for Cirium, this position focuses on developing and executing plans to resonate with buyers, influencers and decision-makers. You will be responsible for crafting customer-centric messaging and supporting go-to-market initiatives to ensure Cirium’s solutions meet and exceed market expectations.
Job Purpose: Your purpose is to tell the value story to buyers, influencers and decision makers, develop and manage Go-To-Market plans. To achieve this, you will work closely with the following teams:
- Product – Work closely with Product Managers to ensure solutions are positioned and messaged the right way.
- Sales – Working closely with sales on how to roll out solutions with customers.
- Pricing – To provide input in the pricing of the Product/Solution portfolio, ensuring the right margin and tested with market.
- Strategy – Check are we going in the agreed direction and confirm whether our strategy is aligned to market feedback.
Responsibilities:
Go-to-Market Strategy Development
- Collaborate with the Head of Value Marketing to develop and execute go-to-market plans that highlight the value of our offerings.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless alignment of value propositions with market needs during product launches.
Customer Personas and Audience Frameworks
- Build and maintain comprehensive customer personas to better understand buyer behaviour, needs, and pain points.
- Map our product offerings to customer challenges, ensuring clear alignment between features and value.
Value Proposition Articulation
- Develop compelling and differentiated value propositions for target audiences, market segments, and buyer personas.
- Provide insights and guidance to support business cases that clearly articulate the ROI and value of our products.
Market Research and Insights
- Conduct market and competitor research to gather insights and inform value-driven marketing strategies.
- Identify emerging trends and opportunities to refine messaging and positioning.
Content Development and Messaging
- Help create high-impact marketing materials such as whitepapers, presentations, and sales enablement tools that effectively communicate product value.
- Collaborate with content and creative teams to ensure messaging consistency across all channels.
Collaboration and Support
- Work closely with marketing, product, sales, and customer success teams to support their efforts in communicating value to prospects and customers.
- Provide training and enablement tools to empower internal teams such as sales and solution consultants to effectively articulate our value propositions.
Requirements:
Experience and Knowledge
- Considerable experience in value-based marketing, product marketing, or a similar role in the software/solutions/data/IT sector.
- Familiarity with aviation or travel market sectors is highly desirable.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing go-to-market strategies and value propositions.
Skills and Expertise
- Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills, including exceptional copywriting and storytelling abilities.
- Proficiency in productivity tools such as MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel; new AI tools; and experience with CRMs and sales enablement platforms is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct and apply market research and customer insights
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once.
- SEO, writing, and editing expertise to support content marketing efforts.
