Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Relief Route Sales Representative is the cover driver for a team of 8
representatives round the outside of the M25 regions
Extensive travel is required and regular overnight stays would be expected.
Day to day duties include coverage of van routes during absence/annual leave, delivering/canvasing for new business opportunities within the team.
Administration duties are also required so basic knowledge of IOS Phone/tablet/excel are essential.
During cover You will be driving a 3.5 t vehicle and managing you own territory and looking after a customer base of around 120 small independent stores. Visiting 18 stores per day, you’ll be out on the road working independently all of the time, so you’ll need to be self-motivated with strong time management skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow set journey schedules.
  • Seek new customer opportunities for territory’s.
  • Communication with Sales Representatives to ensure operations.
  • Provide a regular, reliable and consistent service for our customers.
  • Build relationships with stores and territory’s to help deliver our business’ agenda.
  • Lead daily stock and cash processes for ordering, picking and delivering of stock.
  • Be responsible for growing defined targets across your territory.
  • Collect and unload stock from cash & carry at the beginning and at the end of the day
