EY’s multidisciplinary Quantitative Services – QS - team, specializing in tax credits for Scientific Research and Experimental Development – SRED - is seeking an experienced candidate with a Chemistry, Physics or Chemical, Mining or Mechanical Engineering background to deliver advisory services to our clients in Vancouver and Western Canada. This is an excellent opportunity for talented people to play a key role in EY’s rapidly growing and dynamic incentives practice.

Responsibilities:
- Meeting with pivotal client representatives including CEOs, CTOs, Technical Managers, and Engineers to evaluate their Research and Development projects and prepare SRED claims.
- Assessing project’s eligibility, establishing its value and writing technical project descriptions detailing the innovation and experimental activities.
- Engaging in discussions on new prototypes, experimental trials, process improvements, and new product development for leading companies in Canada.
- Coordinating, preparing, and participating in SRED reviews with CRA auditors.
- Managing the technical submission process which includes formulating and writing technical SRED submissions.
