Vascular Biology Researcher

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Vascular Biology Researcher to contribute to the development and maintenance of advanced organ-on-chip models. In this hands-on role, you will play a key part in protocol development, cell culture maintenance, and comprehensive characterization through advanced imaging and molecular techniques. You will also be responsible for accurately reporting experimental findings to the project team.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERTISE

• Proficiency in cell culture techniques, particularly for vascular biology.
• Strong background in blood-brain barrier research and micro physiological systems.
• Experience with imaging techniques and molecular assays for biological characterization.
• Collaborative mindset, attention to detail, and strong analytical skills. Ability to manage complex technical and administrative aspects of publicly funded research projects.

• Design and implement protocols for the establishment of vascular cells within organ-on-chip models.
• Maintain and monitor vascular cell cultures to ensure optimal experimental conditions.
• Conduct detailed characterization using techniques such as qPCR, immunostaining, and microscopy.
• Document and present experimental results to project team members, providing insights for ongoing research.
