To provide skilled assessment of patients with peripheral arterial disease in the outpatient setting, including clinical history taking, performing physical assessment, requesting appropriate investigations and tests and interpreting and acting on the results in a timely manner. To autonomously consult ( initially with support) both new and follow up patients with peripheral arterial disease, venous disease and complex wounds in the outpatient setting or by telephone consultation across the network. To demonstrate in depth Knowledge and skills in a range of clinical procedures including patient examination and assessment, ABPI, TBI and complex wound assessment. To demonstrate a good understanding of complex wound assessment and up to date knowledge of appropriate dressings/ wound management strategies.
