NGĀ PŪKENGA ME NGĀ WHEAKO | SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • You will have completed your first two post graduate years (PGY3+)
  • Qualifications recognized for registration with the New Zealand Medical Council FRACS, FRCS desirable or Experience in vascular surgery.
  • Knowledge and commitment of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and how the principles can be applied to health.
  • A willingness to grow and further develop an equity lens and skillset, both to assist Māori and minority groups.
  • You must be eligible for general or provisional general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand. You can check your eligibility by visiting the Council - s website at www.mcnz.org.nz

Responsibilities:

We are looking for a Registrar or Junior Consultant who is seeking a role specifically designed to provide them with the full range of clinical experiences and training in Vascular Surgery. The role can be tailored for more open or endovascular work as required and provides an excellent opportunity to advance either open or endovascular skills.
For the advanced trainee/junior consultant the role provides access to advanced open and endovascular techniques from arch to toe. For more junior trainees, the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a recognised training unit for future specialist training applications.
This position starts in September 2025.
