About the role
Fixed term temporary part time opportunity to perform vascular duplex ultrasounds and other non-invasive physiological vascular investigations on inpatients and outpatients at the Vascular Surgery Department’s Vascular Laboratory at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and The Prince Charles Hospital.

  • Demonstrate well-developed clinical knowledge, skills and expertise in vascular sonography and other non-invasive physiological testing to provide high level services to the patients of the Vascular Surgery Department and perform vascular investigations.
  • Utilise a high level of professional judgement and problem solving in clinical decision-making to deliver evidence based clinical practice for routine to complex cases with a high degree of independence.
  • Participate in the performance appraisal and professional development of team members by providing clinical practice supervision, guidance and/or education to HP3 level practitioners and students as required.
  • Actively participate in the multidisciplinary team and in quality and service improvement activities as an advanced vascular sonographer.
