DESCRIPTION

Independently performs diagnostic vascular ultrasound procedures on pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Performs procedures under the direction of a Radiologist.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent educ/experience
• Two year technical program or a combination of education and directly related work experience.
• Coursework/Training: Completion of an approved Vascular Ultrasound Technology Training Program.
• National Registered Vascular Technologist upon hire. Or
• National Registered Technologist - Vascular Sonography upon hire. Or
• National Registered Vascular Specialist - Cardiovascular Credentialing International upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
