MAIN REQUIREMENTS
- Master degree/Bachelor degree in Tax Law or Economics or Finance or equivalent;
- 5 years’ experience in VAT compliance matters in Luxembourg;
- Fluency in English and a good command/comprehension of French and is mandatory (German/Luxembourgish is considered an asset);
- Excellent communication and project management skills;
- Good organizational skills, flexibility and ability to meet strict deadlines;
- Strong commitment to excellence and attention to details;
- Ability to support and mentor staff.
Responsibilities:
- Manage your portfolio of VAT compliance clients/Co-lead the VAT compliance practice
- Supervise VAT team members
- Review new VAT provisions and guidelines issued by the Luxembourg VAT authorities
- Analyse your client’s VAT issues related to VAT compliance
- Assess, evaluate and advise on complex VAT projects
- Assist clients in the set-up of structures (emission of documents, setting-up of operating memorandum …)
- Be the principal point of contact of Luxembourg VAT Authorities and Auditors in case of questions linked to this matter
- Provide in-house training on VAT matters and communicate new tax developments internally
