Required Work Experience

  • 6 years of experience in healthcare
  • 5 years of management experience, including major project development
  • 2 years of experience with Value-Based Care

Responsibilities:

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

  • Leads and/or supports in Value Based Care (VBC) project activities. Responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating VBC implementations and terminations, as well as other special projects through the VBC Operations team. Provides VBC input on said projects including VBC business requirements from the business and system perspectives. Works with business partners internally and externally to develop and monitor metrics of success and create solutions and remove barriers to ensure business goals are met.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, direct, and manage projects and associated activities to ensure goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frames and funding parameters.
  • Participate and lead evaluation and assessment of contract needs, determining project implementation.
  • Collaborate with Project Management team when necessary
  • Apply sound project management principles and demonstrate solid time management skills.
  • Track and manage projects using Gantt charts, RACIs, Risk Logs, and other tracking / communication tools.
  • Produce clear & accurate documentation, including status reporting, for any projects assigned.
  • Work collaboratively with all stakeholders and communicate effectively across the organization.
  • Take projects from initial conception to final implementation or in some instances take over a project mid-flight to ensure it stays on track and through successful implementation
  • Define and document project scope, objectives, detailed project schedules, budget needs, and status reports.
  • Confer with stakeholders, product owners, and other parties as needed to outline schedules, dependencies, convergence, and assignments to ensure each project is being planned and communicated clearly.
  • Provide tactical and strategic input on overall planning and systems-related projects.
  • Produces and keeps updated project artifacts like MS Project schedules and SharePoint sites to drive accurate and visible dashboarding.
  • Provide input for team member performance reviews.
  • Lead complex enterprise-wide projects and/or programs
  • Assist management in production support and project resource planning.
  • Identify new opportunities or processes for continuous improvement, and leading team through improvement process
  • Evaluate high-level project information and assess project components to identify software delivery, business and vendor teams that may be impacted.
  • Establish/update workflow processes for implementation activities for internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate and manage implementation activities including but not limited to: data connectivity and set up, configuration of systems, stakeholder meetings (internal and external), retrospective review
