JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Vehicle Acquisition Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and acquiring pre-owned vehicles for our dealership inventory. You will work closely with customers, private sellers, and industry partners to ensure a steady flow of high-quality vehicles while maintaining strong relationships and delivering exceptional service.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in automotive sales, purchasing, or inventory management preferred.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of vehicle appraisal and valuation tools (e.g., Kelley Blue Book, NADA, or Auction Platforms).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple acquisitions simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen for illegal substance

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively seek and acquire used vehicles from various sources, including private sellers, trade-ins, lease returns, and auctions.
  • Communicate with potential sellers to assess vehicle condition, history, and market value.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle evaluations, including inspections and history report reviews.
  • Negotiate purchase prices to ensure profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate appraisals and trade-in offers, working closely with sales and finance teams.
  • Maintain an updated database of acquired vehicles and track inventory needs.
  • Stay informed on current market trends, vehicle pricing, and demand.
  • Provide excellent customer service and build long-term relationships with sellers.
