Description:
WELCOME TO E-WORKS MOBILITY
Become a Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) Developer at E-Works Mobility and be at the forefront of electric mobility with HEERO - our all-electric commercial vehicle brand. We look forward to receiving your application!
As a VCU Developer, you’ll be at the heart of our mission to transform traditional vehicles into advanced electric models. You will focus on developing and enhancing the core software that acts as the “brain” of our electric vehicles. This role demands a hands-on approach, as you will directly interact with the vehicle to implement, test, and optimize our systems.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Strong expertise in C programming and microcontroller environments, with a solid grasp of additional languages like C++ and Python.
- Proven experience with CAN/LIN bus systems, proficient in using measuring devices and CAN tracers for effective debugging and reverse engineering.
- A background in embedded software development, with familiarity in communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, Modbus, and especially CAN.
- Previous exposure to the automotive sector, particularly electric vehicles, and an understanding of their unique challenges and systems.
- A practical, hands-on approach to development, eager to work directly on vehicles, not just behind a desk.
- Knowledge of electric vehicle systems; experience with ISO26262 or other safety regulations is highly desirable.
- A team player with the ability to adapt quickly, showcasing flexibility in a fast-paced development environment.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, goal-oriented with a passion for electric mobility innovations.
- Proficiency in English is a must; German language skills are beneficial.
