Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Integration Engineer specializing in the integration of interior components, including the instrument panel and interior door trim. This role requires extensive experience in vehicle interior design or assembly management, ideally within a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project work in alignment with the Product Development Process (PEP), independently managing milestones and ensuring timely organization, scheduling, and tracking of project topics.
- Collaborate across disciplines with various specialist departments to ensure seamless integration and alignment on project objectives.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings with development suppliers to ensure project requirements and timelines are met.
- Drive solution development and coordinate requirements according to quality, cost, and timing (Q/K/T) aspects.
- Plan, conduct, and align unit tests to validate component integration.
- Manage component variants, focusing on package integration of components such as the instrument panel and interior door trim.
- Oversee interface, tolerance, and RPS (Reference Point System) management to ensure quality and fit.
- Perform error analysis, utilizing conceptual and measurement protocols for identifying and addressing issues.
- Track and manage maturity of solution elements (LEs) to ensure project readiness at every stage.
Guide components from initial concept through to serial production, ensuring the final variant matrix is optimized.Contribute to cross-module efforts, including the development of acoustic, thermal, and fastening/joining techniques across modules.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Several years of professional experience in vehicle interiors, with expertise in plastics, manufacturing, and joining techniques.
- Proficient in CAD Catia V5 and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experienced in PDM/PLM systems, particularly OAS and Enovia.
- Strong understanding of interface, tolerance, and RPS management.
Fluency in both German (min. B2) and English (min. B2) is essential.Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to manage complex requirements with precision.
