The Vehicle Planning & Strategy Staff Engineer is part of the team that defines the next generation of EV vehicles. You will be responsible for global strategic studies and integration of teams to deliver compelling, feasible, and viable products. You will work with marketing, design, engineering, finance and manufacturing to develop the product concept, architecture, and financials into a compelling and compatible product. You will also work to transform the product development process.

THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS WE SEEK:

  • Engineering or Business degree required. Advanced degree desired but not required.
  • Customer Focused Vehicle Planning & Strategy
  • Strong collaboration skills to integrate vehicle cross-functional teams
  • Strong Strategic Skills
  • Strong program management and planning skills
  • 5+ years of experience working on production vehicle development, from concept to launch3+ years of experience in Program, Project or Product Management & Strategy

  • Use your strategic skills to shape the global product strategy
  • Use your customer, engineering and business skills to integrate cross functional teams to deliver compelling, feasible and viable products.
  • Lead and manage team setup, program assumptions, change control, communication, issues management, financial estimates, and industrialization plans.
  • Lead teams to deliver on time and with quality, setting up schedule with cadence of key decisions, checkpoints, deliverables, etc.
  • Plan the business case of the vehicle with finance, manufacturing, marketing, etc.
  • Create and effectively deploy a more efficient product development process.
