What are we looking for?
We are looking to recruit skilled auto technicians from various sectors in the automotive industry.
We currently have a vacancy in our maintenance team at Thornton-Cleveleys .This team covers vehicles used by services such as Highways, street lighting and passenger transport. Because of the large fleet we provide and maintain and the scope of work we cover we are interested to chat to anyone that has experience in any of the following areas; light vehicle, light commercial, Passenger carrying Vehicles, Large goods vehicles, light & heavy plant, Class 4,5 &7 MOT testing, hydraulics and auto electrical.

Job Role

The successful candidates will be responsible for areas such as:

  • Vehicle inspections and preparing vehicles to MOT and roadworthiness standards in compliance with the organisation’s O license regulations.
  • Repair and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles and plant in accordance with manufacturer and industry standards.
  • Diagnostic fault finding using a range of up-to-date tools & equipment.
  • Breakdown and reactive repairs.
  • On site call outs and repairs.
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic diagnostics and repairs.Providing knowledge and recommendations on fleet maintenance procedure.
