Responsibilities:

  • continuously monitoring security alerts and events generated by vehicle systems and external sources (e.g., vehicle APIs) using our VSOC software platform
  • accurately classifying and investigating the root cause and severity of security incidents
  • developing, modifying, or calibrating security detection algorithms to improve operational efficiency
  • following an incident response plan to help mitigate security incidents according to risk levels
  • continuously monitoring and analyzing emerging cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities in the automotive industry
  • ensuring compliance with automotive cybersecurity standards and regulations, such as ISO 21434 and UN R155
  • preparing high quality technical reports and process documentation
  • reporting out and/or escalating analysis results and identified issues/risks to management and relevant stakeholders
  • working closely with vehicle data analysts and product development (system, hardware, software) engineers

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in cybersecurity and/or data analysis in the automotive or Internet-of-Things (IoT) domain
  • Strong background in cybersecurity monitoring and vulnerability analysis
  • Familiarity with operating principles of automotive control systems or electronics is a plus
  • Familiarity with automotive cybersecurity processes (ISO 21434 or similar standard) is a plus
  • Familiarity with vehicle network communication protocols is a plus
  • Familiarity with automotive diagnostic protocols (e.g., ISO 14229) is a plus
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • BS/MS or equivalent degree in Computer Engineering, Data Engineering,Information Technology or other related technical discipline
