As Procurement Manager, you will be primarily responsible for operating Breaking Wave’s bespoke Vendor Risk Management Process becoming the go-to contact for Vendor on-boarding, lifecycle management and process improvements. You will further assist the COO by monitoring, managing, reporting and remediating Breaking Wave’s key risk indicators (KRIs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) relating to the Breaking Wave business.
Once you are here, you will:
- Be responsible for and operate the processes for on-boarding Vendors into Breaking Wave including negotiating contracts and pricing independently with vendors on behalf of Breaking Wave
- Proactively provide updates and management information regarding the status of their vendor engagements
- Establish relationships with DB’s vendor focused risk controllers, including information security, Anti-financial Crime and Third-Party Management to ensure compliant
- on-boarding of Breaking Wave’s vendors
- Coordinate with DB’s legal teams and assist with the coordination of contract preparation and negotiations
- Manage the lifecycle elements of vendor engagements, including renewals, periodic reviews, issue resolution, termination and off-boarding
- Lead DB’s periodic reviews and assessments of Breaking Wave’s vendor interactions
- Monitor, manage, report and coordinate remediation of Breaking Wave’s KRI’s
- Support Breaking Wave’s COO to improve Vendor and wider risk process, providing a first-class customer experience
- Maintain relationship with DB compliance to ensure Breaking Wave is up to date with all policy changes
- Coordinate annual risk review and policy updates across all BW process owners
Skills & Qualifications we need:
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Flexibility and openness to embrace change
- Experience in a fast-moving customer focused business
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Experience of working in a processing, operations role
• (desirable) Knowledge of vendor or contract management • Demonstration of ownership
