DESCRIPTION:

Based at our Fyshwick Taproom, this hands-on role is focused on all operational aspects of the taproom. Working closely with the Hospitality Operations Manager the role is responsible for the day to day operations, including overseeing personnel, ensuring that the facility is properly maintained and the atmosphere is inviting to our customers at all times. Working with the team to develop a highly engaged and effective team of venue supervisor and front -line staff to deliver an exceptional brewery taproom experience for all who visit.

Responsibilities:

Provides legendary service to Capital Brewing Co customers
Effectively manages Taproom shifts ensuring the venue is kept to a high level of cleanliness, staff are providing attentive service at all times and resources are being fully utilised
Actively works across all areas of venue as needed to provide hands-on support to taproom attendants during peak periods
Develops sound rostering ensuring the venue is always adequately staffed and allowing sufficient flexibility to respond to venue occupancy to maximise profitability through staffing
Assists with the recruitment, onboarding and offboarding of Taproom staff.
Develops and delivers staff training to continually improve the employment experience
Provides accurate daily financial reportings and provides insight into trends and anomalies. Is able to provide suggestions for evidence-based improvements in financial reporting
Responsible for the management of stock in the Taproom and all merchandise stock
Ensures regulatory compliance across all aspects of the venue, including licensing, health and safety, and fire regulations
Ensures SOP’s are regularly reviewed and taproom attendants compliance schedules are up to date
