Exciting Opportunity: Graphic Design Student
We’re seeking a talented Graphic Design Student to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be involved in visual branding efforts for Nasdaq Verafin, including creating content that helps us acquire sales leads!

What You’ll Do:

• Attend and participate in team meetings and check-ins
• Work through assigned projects and tasks, continuously providing updates to the marketing coordinator while adhering to deadlines
• Collaborate and brainstorm with other designers on your creative projects
• Seize the opportunity to research new design skills and tactics, keeping up on design and marketing trends

What We’re Looking For:

• Students currently completing a graphic design college program
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Word
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite including Aftereffects, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, etc.
• Diligent and attentive to detail
• Excellent communication skills and openness to suggestions
• Ability to meet deadlines and utilize excellent time management skills in a rapidly changing environment

What Additional Experience You Could Bring:

• Experience with Motion Graphics/Animation/ Interactive Multimedia would be considered an asset
• HTML/CSS and experience with WordPress would be considered an asset

What Success Looks Like:

• Working independently, running a design from start to finish while only pulling in the team where needed
• Iterating consistently for continuous improvement
• Understanding the goals of the team, creating the best marketing content while using problem solving skills to achieve team goals
• Ability to balance multiple priorities at the same time, while determining the most important things to work on

This position is located in St. John’s, NL, and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment (2 days a week in office), providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates
