BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
  • 5+ years of aerospace industry experience in verification and validation
  • Experience in programming languages such as Ada/C++/Python and scripting to build test automation
  • Experience with DO178 / ARP 4754

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of architecture, or platforms
  • Develop and maintain test automation framework with CI/CD tools.
  • Basic understanding of data structures
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills

MISCELLANEOUS REQUIREMENTS

  • Work can be done remotely.
  • For employees based in Montreal, the work model is hybrid (at least one day at the office).
  • The position might require travel to visit customers (in North America)

Responsibilities:

CAREER OPPORTUNITY AND PRIMARY ROLES / RESPONSIBILITIES

We’re currently looking for Verification & Validation Engineers with previous experience writing test cases, test scenarios, debugging, and understanding and improving simulation infrastructure for a new, exciting eVTOL project.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Influencing overall V&V strategy by helping define product features, enabling QA during design, and spearheading best practices to enable a quality product
  • Writing and running test cases
  • Working with Design Teams to understand test scenarios
  • Working with the Test Team to understand test infrastructure
  • Driving test automation to ensure product quality
  • Troubleshooting failures and proposing corrective actions
  • Participating in infrastructure design reviews
  • Defining mechanisms and metrics to determine and drive improvements to test effectiveness, testing efficiency, and measure the overall quality of the catalog
