Description:
THE OPPORTUNITY:
We are looking for a dynamic and efficient Veterinary Client Care, Insurance and Referral Coordinator based in the Equine Veterinary Hospital at Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies. Based in our state-of-the-art Equine Hospital, the post holder will be required to provide a gold standard of care to our clients and referring veterinary surgeons, alongside providing administrative and clerical duties to support the efficient running of the Equine Practice and Hospital clinics. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will be part of a friendly, supportive team whose emphasis is on delivering high-level client care and support to the clinical team. This varied and interesting post requires a confident outgoing individual with excellent initiative, communication skills and attention to detail.
This post is full-time (35 hours per week)
YOUR SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES FOR SUCCESS:
- Previous experience in a client-facing role – preferably in the veterinary environment.
- Previous administrative experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in order to interact professionally with staff, students and clients.
- The ability to work well as part of a team and individually, whilst remaining calm and efficient in emotionally charged situations.Ability to use standard processes and maintain a high level of customer service.
