Description:
Glenridge Animal Hospital is expanding our pet care team and we have an opening for a Concierge in our Client Services department.
The role of our Concierge is to assist our clients by providing them personalized service and access to care in a warm, friendly environment.
We are looking for someone who can thrive in a busy environment, while offering a kind, compassionate approach to our pets and their people - our goal is to make every visit a good experience for everyone, and it all begins when you walk in the front door.
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
- Experience as a veterinary receptionist or CSR, Animal Care or similar.
- Outstanding communication skills
- Patience and discretion
- Empathy and kindness
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology and medical office procedures are a bonus!

- Greet and assist clients and patients
- Manage office communications (e.g. phone, emails, etc)
- Schedule medical appointments & respond to client requests
- Follow up communications with clients
- Process invoices, bills and payments
- Oversight of food sales and maintaining stock
- Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
