Description:

Glenridge Animal Hospital is expanding our pet care team and we have an opening for a Concierge in our Client Services department.
The role of our Concierge is to assist our clients by providing them personalized service and access to care in a warm, friendly environment.
We are looking for someone who can thrive in a busy environment, while offering a kind, compassionate approach to our pets and their people - our goal is to make every visit a good experience for everyone, and it all begins when you walk in the front door.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

  • Experience as a veterinary receptionist or CSR, Animal Care or similar.
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Patience and discretion
  • Empathy and kindness
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and medical office procedures are a bonus!

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist clients and patients
  • Manage office communications (e.g. phone, emails, etc)
  • Schedule medical appointments & respond to client requests
  • Follow up communications with clients
  • Process invoices, bills and payments
  • Oversight of food sales and maintaining stock
  • Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
