Responsibilities:

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated Patient Care Assistant to join our friendly team supporting our team of highly skilled Specialists, Residents, Interns, and Nurses.
The perfect candidate would be keen to develop their knowledge and experience within the Veterinary Industry.
You will work both independently and as part of the team to support the provision of inpatient care within our oncology department and our hospital. Key responsibilities will include dog walking, feeding and giving oral medications, cleaning and maintenance of our hospital, helping to restrain patients during procedures and providing ever so important TLC the patients within our care.
This is a full-time (average 35 hours per week), permanent position with shifts between 7:30am and 8:30pm. You will participate in a weekend and Bank Holiday rota.

You need to be a highly motivated self-starter with the:

  • Desire to provide gold standard care to all our patients
  • Ability and initiative to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Inclination to learn and develop your clinical skills.
