Description:
We opened our independent small animal practice in November 2023 and it’s going from strength to strength! We are now looking for an additional receptionist to join our happy team.
It’s an exciting practice to be part of; having already grown to a dedicated team of 20, who enjoy working and socialising together. We are lucky to have clients who really value the service we provide, and a very spacious, purpose-built practice.
We are looking for a new team member with experience in a customer-facing role to fill a 3 or 4 day a week position, working 8am to 6.30pm. Our receptionists also work 1 in 5 Saturday mornings from 9am to 12pm.
Our receptionists provide a warm welcome to our clients and patients, and are crucial to the smooth running of the practice. As a receptionist, you will manage our diary efficiently and help clients over the phone and by email, in an often fast-paced environment. This requires excellent communication and IT skills, as well as the ability to multi-task with high attention to detail and confidentiality.
The ability to work as part of a close-knit team is vital to delivering the high standard of service we have set. As a receptionist you will be interacting positively with clients and their pets, and be able to adapt to different situations seamlessly. You should have a genuine love for animals and a basic understanding of their needs, although training will be provided for this role. We pride ourselves in the presentation of the practice and maintaining a clean and inviting reception area is of utmost importance.
If you feel you have the skills and attributes required for this position, send your CV and a covering email telling us why you would be a great team member to lyndsay.mendham@dereham-vets.co.uk
