EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- At least 1 year of experience in a veterinary clinic or similar role.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on outstanding client service.
- Calm under pressure with the ability to handle stressful situations empathetically.
- Proficient with POS software (AVImark preferred), Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 30 lbs and standing/walking for extended periods.
- Strong team player who can collaborate with all levels of hospital staff.

Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional, friendly service, creating a welcoming atmosphere for both pets and clients.
- Greet clients and efficiently manage incoming calls with professionalism.
- Handle pet admissions, discharges, invoicing, and prescriptions with accuracy and clarity.
- Respond to medical inquiries, screen service requests, and schedule appointments, ensuring each client feels heard and valued.
- Manage email and mail correspondence with attention to detail.
- Keep accurate client and service records using our business software.
- Assist with medication administration, pet restraint, and prescriptions when needed.
- Maintain clean, well-organized clinic areas, including pharmacy, treatment, and surgery spaces.
- Perform general cleaning and sterilization of surgical equipment, as well as laundry.
- Ensure proper pet identification and maintain clean cages and runs.
