Under the leadership of our dedicated Medical Director, Dr. Harry Cozens, and our inspiring Hospital Director, Robyn Luscombe, Mountainside 24/7 Animal Emergency is thriving and evolving. In February 2025, we will expand into the specialty field with the addition of Internal Medicine Specialist, Dr. Ewan Wolff. To support this exciting new chapter, we are seeking a full-time Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our growing Internal Medicine department.

Responsibilities:
- Manage appointments and clients in collaboration with the Internal Medicine team.
- Assist with client communication including call backs, check ins, prescription refills and paperwork (create estimates, discharge instructions, maintain patient records).
- Conduct patient assessment, diagnostics, and treatments.
- Obtain and process laboratory samples.
- Perform medical calculations and administration, digital radiology, and other procedures.
- Induce, monitor, and recover anesthetized or sedated patients.
- Set up and assist in endoscopic procedures.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained in clean, working order.
- Maintain the cleanliness of exam and treatment rooms.
- Continuing to learn and develop skills with the evolution of the service.
- Having a keen interest in mentoring VAs and other techs with the service.
- Maintaining a clear focus on patient outcome.
- Investment in working together as a team.
