Responsibilities:
- As a Veterinary Technician at Mountain Vista Veterinary Hospital, you’ll play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our patients and exceptional service to their owners. Your responsibilities will include:
- Patient Care: Assist with examinations, administer medications, and monitor patients during surgery and recovery.
- Diagnostics: Perform lab tests, take radiographs, and support veterinarians with diagnostic procedures.
- Surgical Assistance: Prepare for and assist in surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile environment and patient safety.
- Client Communication: Communicate with pet owners and educate them about their pet’s health, treatment plans, preventive care and post-operative instructions.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other veterinary technicians, veterinarians, assistants, and client care representatives to ensure smooth operations and the best care for our patients.
