Description:
This is a fully remote, full-time employee position for individuals residing anywhere in Ireland.
We’re VOID Interactive, the kickass team behind the best-selling FPS game, Ready or Not. We’re made up of some seriously talented individuals who love games and creating awesome content together. We’re seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Associate Producer to join us remotely and help us elevate Ready or Not to new heights. Our goal is strong: to establish Ready or Not as the quintessential FPS of our time.
As our VFX Artist, you will be instrumental in crafting high-quality visual effects that enhance gameplay and immerse players in the world of Ready or Not. You’ll collaborate with artists, designers, and programmers to bring your visions to life, ensuring that every effect contributes to the overall atmosphere and gameplay experience.
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in Houdini, Embergen or similar software
- Shipped at least 1 AAA or equivalent game.
- Strong Tactical shooter interest.

Responsibilities:
- Designing and creating visually striking effects, including explosions, smoke, fire, and other dynamic elements that enhance the game’s realism and excitement.
- Collaborating with the art and design teams to understand the game’s vision and ensure effects align with gameplay mechanics and aesthetics.
- Implementing VFX in the game engine, optimising performance while maintaining visual fidelity.
- Participating in brainstorming sessions to explore innovative ideas and techniques for VFX that elevate the player experience.
- Iterating on feedback from team members and play testers to refine and improve the quality of visual effects.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and new tools to continually enhance your skill set and the team’s output.
