Job Purpose
We are looking for a Vibrations Analysis Engineer (FEA) to join our Flow Assurance & Computational Analysis Team at TechnipFMC Krakow. In this role you will be a member of a global Center of Excellence gathering experts in multiple numerical modelling disciplines and you will be working on developing subsea equipment for Oil & Gas industry and TechnipFMC customers worldwide.

You will be responsible for:

  • Performing studies related to vibrations (flow induced vibrations, acoustic pulsation) using ANSYS Mechanical software
  • Coordinating studies related to FEA/CFD analyses
  • Supporting the Flow Assurance team in tenders, studies and projects execution
  • Creating documentation and reports including the outcome of studies
  • Cooperating with peers from cross-functional teams to consult and resolve design challenges
  • Communicating results to internal and external customers

You are meant for this job if:

  • BSc/MSc degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical Engineering, Power Engineering, Civil Engineering or other related discipline)
  • +3 years of experience in the FEA analyst role
  • Knowledge of mechanical vibrations, frequency domains, PSD
  • Experience in Harmonic Response, Acoustic Response and Modal Analyses
  • Understanding of mechanical principles, stresses and fatigue
  • Skills in programming in Python (at least basic level)
  • Fluency when communicating in English (at least B2 level)
  • Strong communication skills to discuss and explain technical information
  • Ability to work as a team member in the international environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness

Optional:

  • Experience in using ANSYS products and 3D CAD software (i.e NX)
  • Experience in using pre-processors (ANSA, HyperMesh, etc.)
  • Experience in using CFD solvers (Fluent, CFX, StarCCM+, etc.)
