Job Purpose
We are looking for a Vibrations Analysis Engineer (FEA) to join our Flow Assurance & Computational Analysis Team at TechnipFMC Krakow. In this role you will be a member of a global Center of Excellence gathering experts in multiple numerical modelling disciplines and you will be working on developing subsea equipment for Oil & Gas industry and TechnipFMC customers worldwide.
You will be responsible for:
- Performing studies related to vibrations (flow induced vibrations, acoustic pulsation) using ANSYS Mechanical software
- Coordinating studies related to FEA/CFD analyses
- Supporting the Flow Assurance team in tenders, studies and projects execution
- Creating documentation and reports including the outcome of studies
- Cooperating with peers from cross-functional teams to consult and resolve design challenges
- Communicating results to internal and external customers
You are meant for this job if:
- BSc/MSc degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical Engineering, Power Engineering, Civil Engineering or other related discipline)
- +3 years of experience in the FEA analyst role
- Knowledge of mechanical vibrations, frequency domains, PSD
- Experience in Harmonic Response, Acoustic Response and Modal Analyses
- Understanding of mechanical principles, stresses and fatigue
- Skills in programming in Python (at least basic level)
- Fluency when communicating in English (at least B2 level)
- Strong communication skills to discuss and explain technical information
- Ability to work as a team member in the international environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness
Optional:
- Experience in using ANSYS products and 3D CAD software (i.e NX)
- Experience in using pre-processors (ANSA, HyperMesh, etc.)
- Experience in using CFD solvers (Fluent, CFX, StarCCM+, etc.)
