JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, Building, Business, Finance, Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum ten (10) years’ relevant real estate asset management experience.
- Be operationally hands-on with sound financial grounding.
- Good knowledge of the local markets.
- Good people management skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills
- MBA/Master’s Degree in Real Estate, Finance or equivalent would be considered desirable/highly advantageous.
Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
This position will help to formulate and execute asset management strategies and plans for the student housing portfolio in UK, including marketing strategies to optimise income and realise the highest value of our assets.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the overall operational and financial performances of portfolio assigned, including positioning of assets as well as the enhancement of cashflow and asset value.
- Hands-on asset and operational management to ensure both revenue, expenses and physical upkeep and maintenance of the properties and optimized.
- Prepare, manage and ensure achievement of our annual budgets and reports which cover the financial and operational performance of the assets, leasing status and rental collection.
- Develop asset plans for each asset including recommending asset enhancement initiatives, redevelopment plans, divestment opportunities etc. where appropriate.
- Assist investment team in the underwriting of new investment opportunities.
- Manage and work closely with the Property Managers/ Outsourced Service Providers to ensure assets are properly maintained, managed and compliant with regulations and coordinating with external parties like government authorities, brokers, universities etc.
- Manage market intelligence, collate global market / industry information to ensure competitiveness of the Company’s products and services.
