Responsibilities:
ROLE PURPOSE
The VP Business Development supports company growth and strategy formulation by identifying & developing new/existing business opportunities for increasing revenue and expanding brand presence. Furthermore, liaise with operational teams, track market emerging trends, lead client relationship management and build strategic partnerships in compliance with global best practices enhancing business growth opportunities.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Develop existing businesses to maximize revenue generation and market penetration
- Assess market opportunities on a regional perspective and lead in the identification and assessment of targeted market segments.
- Lead negotiations for major projects/mergers and acquisitions/ joint ventures as well as commercial contract negotiations airlines, clients, service providers, and governmental authorities.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities. Conduct business valuation and financial due diligence.
- Establish, build, and maintain customer relationships and support implementation of aviation business development strategy through a sophisticated Customer Relationship Management system.
- Conduct financial modelling and valuation analysis related to mergers & acquisitions, new business opportunities and other corporate development initiatives
- Work on negotiations, tenders, bids, contracts and other related documents including share purchase agreements (SPA’s), shareholder’s agreements (SHA’s), management agreements (MA/TSA).
