We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer I to join our Enterprise Information Delivery – Reporting Platform team. This role is located in Jersey City, NJ – HYBRID.

Responsibilities:
IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT IN THE FOLLOWING WAYS:
Building well designed & developed, and scalable solutions using our technology stack to meet the strategic requirements of the Platform
Analyzing existing legacy designs and solutions and rebuild them to drive improvements and modernization.
Promoting best engineering practices to deliver software via rapid iterations and frequent releases.
Lead technical discussions and provide technical oversight (including code reviews) to the development work from the team.
Execute full lifecycle software development
Conduct reviews of the test Plan and test Data. Programming well-designed, testable, efficient code.
Collaborate cross-functionality with data engineers, business users, project managers and other engineers to achieve elegant solutions
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, WE’RE SEEKING THE FOLLOWING:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
5-7 years of experience in software development required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
5-7 years of total work experience of full stack technical experience building enterprise SaaS.
Extensive experience of Java/Spring Boot development, including microservices and even-driven architecture implementation
Extensive hands-on experience of frontend technology (i.e. Angular, RxJs, HTML, CSS)
Experience with RDBMS and NoSLQ databases.
Test automation development using Cypress, Selenium, Cucumber, or similar. Experience with Test-Driven-Development is preferred.
Experience in Agile methodologies.
Hands-on experience with release management and CICD deployment workflow processes, from development release through production deployment
Strong technical and communication skills required
