Description:

Role Overview: As the leader of Arora’s Global Digital Strategy and Advisory Practice, you will be instrumental in facilitating Arora’s delivery of digital transformation strategy and advisory services to customers throughout North America and the Middle East Region (MEA). This executive-level position involves shaping our digital delivery strategy and roadmap, ensuring that the company is positioned at the forefront of A/E/C and Asset management digital innovation. You will provide high-level strategic advice and technical guidance to Arora senior leadership, PMO, and customers, focusing on best-in-class implementation of advanced digital technology to optimize operations and services.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE MINIMUM:

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • 25+ years of experience in digital technology strategy and implementation, with significant experience in A/E/C mandatory.
  • Valid state driver’s license (any in US) and ability to maintain a safe driving record.
  • Valid passport and ability to travel internationally to Europe and the Middle East including Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar.
  • In possession of appropriate documentation to legally gain and maintain employment in the US.

NEEDED SKILLS:

  • Proven track record in a strategic advisory or executive leadership role.
  • Deep understanding of digital technologies relevant to the aviation and bio-sciences A/E/C engineering sector, including EAM, AI, IoT, BIM, GIS, and Digital twins.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful digital strategies that drive business growth and innovation.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and guide teams towards achieving strategic objectives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
  • 15+ years Seller-Doer business development and marketing experience, including 5+ years of management experience, demonstrated responsibility for program, project (or group/office) profit and loss.
  • Ability to develop and maintain productive business relationships with clients, colleagues and vendors
  • Experience and knowledge of business development as it pertains to the A/E/C digital technology industry
  • Thorough knowledge of A/E/C design-to-completion engineering processes
  • Proven record of increasing business development successes
  • Proven record of increasing leadership responsibility and expertise, including decision making, flexibility, problem-solving, reasoning strategic thinking, and accountability.
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement digital technology strategies that align with the company’s vision and business goals. Provide insights on emerging digital trends and technologies.
  • Support the evaluation, selection, and integration of digital technologies such as AI, IoT, BIM, GIS, EAM and digital twins into our projects and operations.
  • Promote a culture of innovation, spearheading research and development initiatives to explore new digital solutions and methodologies.
  • Oversee the company’s internal digital transformation efforts, ensuring the seamless adoption of new technologies across all departments.
  • Provide strategic oversight and technical guidance on key projects, ensuring the successful integration of digital technologies to achieve project objectives.
  • Engage with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders to promote our digital capabilities and explore collaborative opportunities. Represent Arora at industry conferences and events.
  • Assess and mitigate technical risks associated with digital initiatives, developing strategies to address potential challenges.
  • Mentor and develop technical staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
