Responsibilities:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Vice President - Lead Credit Portfolio Consultant in Commercial Real Estate (CRE) to execute against the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) program and CRE wide Issues Management objectives in support of Wells Fargo’s Risk Management Framework. This role will support the execution of the RCSA program and Risk Assessable Unit (RAU) owners during workshop execution and post-workshop activities across the CRE sublines of business, ensuring consistency. In this role, you will:
- Perform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues, and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations
- Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of the functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support the implementation of developed solutions and plans
- Lead cross functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute a variety of programs, services and initiatives
- Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate which may involve escalations, communication and reporting as needed to senior leadership
- Support and drive alignment of common and shared controls, assessing overlap between control environment and transformation initiatives while further solidifying control and line of business partnerships
