Description:

ABOUT CITCO:

The market leader. The premier provider. The best in the business. At Citco, we’ve been the front-runner in our field since our incorporation in 1948 led to the evolution of the asset servicing sector itself. This pioneering spirit continues to guide us today as we innovate and expand, push beyond the boundaries of our industry, and shape its future. From working exclusively with hedge funds to serving all alternatives, corporations and private clients, our organization has grown immensely across asset classes and geographies. For us, this progress is a pattern that we’ll only maintain as we move forward, always prioritizing our performance. So for those who want to play at the top of their game and be at the vanguard of their space, we say: Welcome to Citco.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead multiple teams within the Reconciliations, Client Service and Delivery group. The Reconciliations function is responsible for reconciling client transactions to 3rd party data, to ensure the integrity and accuracy of the records. The focus of the CSandD function is to identify and resolve issues described in the 3rd party reconciliations, to ensure that the portfolio is maintained (cash flows and security updates), and that any residual risk is captured and signed off prior to production of financial statements.
  • Have an in-depth understanding of the risks, cash flows and best practice protocols required to be able to service your clients and ensure that your team meets the SLA’s. The ability to build and develop the professional skill set within your team will be critical as we look to improve our service.
  • Lead a number of Managers and their teams. Acting as a point of contact and escalation for the clients they service, the colleagues we work with, and your staff.
  • Ensure teams are well organized, resourced and equipped to service their clients, while minimizing overtime.
  • Monitor and take ownership of our exposure to risk, by challenging staff and clients to ensure that support is appropriate; escalating judiciously where there are issues.
  • Actively review portfolios and Service Level Agreements to ensure compliance and adherence to best practice protocols.
  • Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge and familiarization with a range of securities and investments, their standard treatments and applicable cash flows. Contribute to the design and implementation of mitigating tools and controls.
  • Initialize new client relationships, lead new fund setups, conversions and migrations.
  • Coach and develop staff to perform successfully in their current roles and develop them into senior management positions.
  • Contribute to and/or take a leading role in projects, initiatives and audit requests from both internal and external parties.
