Job Summary
The Company is looking for a passionate and driven Vice-President of Finance to join its dynamic team and support the company’s operations. The VP will have direct exposure to senior members of the team and be part of a team of dedicated professionals.
The VP will be primarily responsible for the financial reporting, analysis and planning, internal controls, and audit compliance. The candidate will also lead the business partners responsible at the various sites.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, management, technology, analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills as an integral part of the team.
The idea candidate will work closely with the Corporate Controller and will be responsible for revenue forecasts, analyzing data-driven trends, and communicating actionable insights to the senior management team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Hold a university degree
Hold a CPA designation
Have a minimum of 10 years of experience relevant to the function, with focus on process and internal controls
Experience in a multi-site environment Skills
Highly organized and ability to manage multiple priorities
Knowledge of complete accounting cycle, financial reporting
Knowledge of SAP, One-Stream and Planful (an asset)
Comfortable with Technology and ERP systems
Detailed oriented with strong accounting and finance skills
Self-starter with a proven track record of developing and executing change
Strong in management influence, project management, creative problem solving, and cross-functional team-building skills
Passionate, high-energy individual who can function in a complex, metric-driven environment
Superior analytical skills and business acumen
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of programs (Power BI would be a plus)
Strong communication skills (French & English)
Ability to work under pressure
Strong team spirit

Responsibilities:

Responsible for reviewing results of operations of various business units including various performance and general ledger reports and analysis thereon
Provides other managers and departments with information required by them to carry out their assigned responsibilities
Review BS, and Cashflow
Prepares monthly reporting package and integral part of month-end close process
Review and reconciling intercompany transactions
Reports financial results in Group reporting platform and quarterly reporting package
Prepares monthly financial statements and maintains rolling financial model
Responsible for budget and forecast process
Various financial analysis on business line performance, account-level analysis
Responsible for external audit process
Prepares support for external consultants for corporate tax returns
Shares responsibility for the tax provision
Reviews agreements concerning financial obligations such as contracts for products and services and other actions requiring a commitment of financial resources
Designing advanced analytics strategy and apply quantitative skills to business problems and translate data into actionable insights to inform key decisions. Summarize and present data and insights to senior management leaders throughout cross functional groups.
Ensuring objectivity of the forecasts of opportunities through establishing objectives aligned around forecast accuracy.
Assisting the Company in it its Procurement activities, including buying and sourcing and being responsible for documenting compliance with Swissport International’s procurement policies
Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the finance and accounting team with their tasks when needed
Becoming subject matter expert in revenue contracts, including assisting the commercial team in pricing contracts
