JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Vice President, HR for C&W Services will provide high level strategic and hands-on support to the C&W Services business, partnering with the executive leadership team to help set human capital strategy that drives operating model optimization aligned with business outcomes both now and in the future. This position will lead a team responsible for delivering people partner and generalist support to corporate functions within CWS while also owning HR data integrity and distribution, process and policy shifts, oversee HR’s role in business transitions, etc. The role will also collaborate with the HR Centers of Expertise (COEs) to ensure quality HR service delivery. The position reports to the Senior Vice President of People Partnering for C&W Services

  • Self-starter, able to work independently, takes ownership for problems
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills
  • Professional HR Certification is desired
  • Ability to travel up to 30%

IDEAL EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree with concentration in HR or business-related field; advanced degree preferred, but not required
  • 10+ years of experience in a client-focused HR Business Partner role
  • Ideal candidate will have prior experience in a Labor-based business with a large hourly workforce
  • Experience working in a metrics-driven organization with matrix reporting is preferred.

    The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
    The compensation for the position is: $212,500.00 - $250,000.00

Responsibilities:

BUSINESS PARTNER / STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Partner directly with members of the CWS Executive Committee (CWS CFO, CTO, Head of Business Development, CMO, etc.) to drive strategic talent outcomes
  • Provide HR Business Partner support in diagnosing issues and opportunities within their teams and taking action, driving initiatives and working with the HR team to execute plans.
  • Drive and execute effective talent strategy, including robust succession plans and developing internal talent, along with the recruitment strategy to ensure the right talent at the right time.
  • Liaise and develop relationships with organization counterparts in communications and change management
  • Deliver an exceptional quality of service to the leadership team, as reflected by stakeholder feedback

HR FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Drive annual HR processes ensuring they are aligned with the HR roadmap and have consistent messaging
  • Resource and succession planning – in close cooperation with the leadership and HR team, identify future resourcing needs, build succession plans and proactively identify resourcing options to close potential resourcing gaps
  • Recruitment – Stakeholder ownership of the Talent Acquisition COE for the business, translating specific business needs to attract and acquire employees.
  • Talent development – Manage talent review process, performance management, and employee growth programs, ensuring the continuous supply, development and retention of top talent.
  • Training – Coordinate the training needs and training planning activities with the leadership teams, leveraging programs delivered by Global and Americas HR L&D teams.
  • Use workforce data and apply analytical skills to formulate people insights and recommendations.
  • Partnership with Labor Relations to communicate Labor Strategy to Operations and clients.
  • Oversee Workforce Strategy & Development function and support.

HRBP PROJECT & FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Work with various stakeholders on a wide variety of global HR initiatives and projects across multiple HR disciplines, including, but not limited to: compensation, diversity and inclusion, governance and policy, change management, talent management, performance management, HRIS, and acquisition due diligence & integration.
