Description:

Lotus Concepts is seeking an experienced Vice President of Marketing join our expanding, full service, upscale bar and restaurant group with creative menus and chef driven concepts. This position will be responsible for strategic brand management, review budgets, set goals, conduct market research, and help maintain an appropriate image of the company. Ideal candidates should be keen multitaskers who thrive in a competitive environment and possess the ability to make challenging decisions under pressure.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience working with a full-service hospitality brand with a minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience in a VP or similar leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successfully handling and prioritizes multiple projects while working against tight timelines.
  • Superb marketing and research skills.
  • Knowledge and practical experience with SEO, digital marketing tools, and related software.
  • Highly observant and analytical.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to make difficult decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Passionate for the food and beverage industry with a strong network and knowledge of Denver restaurants, bars, and influential peoples, as well as trends in other major markets.
  • On top of trends and able to bring inspiration to fruition with a sense of urgency.
  • Abilty to take responsibility of department to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, PR, branding and/or business.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing existing branding and marketing strategies and improving upon them
  • Leading a collaborative and high performing marketing team and delegating tasks fairly.
  • Preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and yearly budgets, and allocating resources appropriately.
  • Reporting to the company VP or the business owner.
  • Conducting market research and implementing new strategies based on findings.
  • Monitoring industry trends and scheduling meetings to share new information with the team.
  • Setting daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly targets, and implementing various incentives to ensure they are achieved.
  • Closely monitoring competitors’ successes and failures and learning from them.
  • Supervising marketing events and launches and using these spaces to network with industry professionals.
  • Assisting with the recruitment, training, and onboarding of new staff.
