Description:

As Vice President of Sales, you will lead revenue-generating strategies across the company’s portfolio of hotels in the CALA (Caribbean and Latin America) region. Reporting to the EVP of Sales, you will oversee sales teams to maximize revenue, expand market share, and optimize wholesale distribution. Your expertise in strategic sales and marketing will be crucial to support the company’s growth plans in CALA through new hotels and third-party management opportunities.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or related field plus minimum 5 years progressive sales leadership experience in a multi-brand hotel company
  • Proven track record of executing strategic plans that grow revenue and market share
  • Expertise in developing strategies for sales across business segments like group, leisure, events, and wholesale
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills to inspire teams and analyze sales performance
  • Experience developing and maintaining strategic client relationships
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite and comfortable with up to 60% regional/international travel
  • Fluency in Spanish is required for success in leading teams and collaborating in key Latin American market

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve portfolio revenue goals with divisional VP teams
  • Define and track key performance metrics to meet targets and ensure accountability through detailed reporting
  • Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing sales team through training, coaching, and incentives
  • Represent the company at industry events and maintain productive client relationships throughout the sales cycle
  • Partner with Business Development on new leads, RFP responses and showcasing the company’s capabilities
  • Oversee vendor partnerships and corporate sales support functions to enhance ROI
